1. Michael Dell is the CEO and founder of Dell computers. They are the largest computer manufacturer in the world. I use dell computer often, and am typing this on a Dell computer right now.
2. Tom Anderson is the cofounder and former president of myspace. He along with his cofounder pioneered the social networking platform, which gave rise to other social networks. Although I do not use MySpace, I know people who do and I use othe social media websites.
3. Logitech is a large company that produces peripherals for computers. They dominate the peripheral market, creating all types of keyboards, mouses, webcams, etc. Most people who use copmuters have proabbhlu used a logitech peripheral.
4. Cisco is a large company that sells user electronics. They make many electronics, liek WiFi linksys ports which my neighbors use.

Steve Ballmer- Worked as a key person in microsoft, which became an extremely successful company. -He influenced microsoft's computers and products. -I use many microsoft created devices daily.
Eric Shmidt- Early on, he worked with various different IT companies, including Sun Microsystems. He was one of the key creators of Google, a hugely used internet website, as well as working with Apple. I use google multiple times daily.
Monster- Monster is the most widely used and visited job finding site, allowing people to submit and review job resumes. It dominates its own market. I know people who have used monster to find a job.
CNET- CNET is a media news website. It is widely used by anyone curious about new technology news. I have used CNET in the past.

Mark Dean and Meg Whitman

1. Meg Whitman was the CEO of Ebay and an executive at various other large companies including Disney and Deramworks.
2. Ebay allowed people to buy and sell items from across the country.
3. I used ebay occasionaly to buy things.

1. Invented the ISA bus and one of the first computer chips.
2. Allowed people to create and invent products that required a comptuer chip for them to operate like a computers.
3. I use computers which use a computer chip like one designed by Mark Dean's team.

Tech Terms - Jack kilby
Jack Kilby
1.Jack Kilby's success is due to his invention of the circuit board and handheld calculator. Calcultors are extremely useful and are used all the time in math classes.
2. Before the handheld calcultor, all calculations were done on room-sized monster computers. Now complicated math problems could be done in your hand.
3. He created devices we use everday. Without him use of computers and calculators may be very different.

2. Intel softoware is used in our home computers.
3. He has an impact on my life because Intel is a huge technology power, creating many technologies we use daily. My cousin is an intel employee, and some of the technology they produce is incredible.

Steve Wozniak, along with Steve Jobs pioneered apple and the macintosh computer. Steve Jobs was the main designer and programmer of the original apple computers. He created a huge impact on technology, without him, it is unlikely that the Macintosh computer would be released- the first computer to have graphics and mouse, which all personal computers now use. The personal connection is clear- I use mac computers, and computer that use a mouse and graphic interface everyday.

- His affect on technology spawned from his creation of microsoft, and the immense number of computers and other related devices they created, notabley the microsoft windows computer.
- He made the basic computer operating system that we use today.

- Mark Zuckerbergs success comes from his founding of facebook- currently the worlds most popular social networking site. In his childhood, he was extremely interested in software design, and even had a private tutor. He built games and software as a middle school student.
